In the Tibetan Dzogchen tradition, the heart essence is the doorway to deeper levels of awareness. Dzogchen means “the great perfection”. Once the heart is open, one can experience the true nature of the great perfection. Resonance is the deep vibration that comes through direct connection to a person or a thing using all the senses simultaneously. Using meditation exercises based in Dzogchen, the power of pink kunzite, danburite and clear quartz, we’ll explore how crystal resonance can open the heart and heal the body. Danburite helps the heart open so self love can emerge and kunzite facilitates the heart center to awaken to unconditional love. This experiential class includes meditation, reflection, discussion and journaling. If you have a desire to open your heart, this class is for you!..... What you’ll learn in this class:
- Develop awareness regarding your heart essence
- Learn how to use stillness and breathing to open your heart
- Experience resonance with kunzite and danburite
- Learn direct methods to use your crystals in meditation.......
Prerequisite: You must already possess a resonance (feel a connection) with crystals to take this class. Bring a journal to write your reflections. Wear comfortable clothing and a meditation cushion......
MIMI MALFITANO has 17 years practicing combined TM Meditation and Dzogchen Meditation and specializes in teaching awareness and how to increase and hold light in the body. Specifically, she can help people become aware of how to use their energy to heal themselves. She's a trained Reiki Master and performs healings at Crossroads, the monthly Labyrinth circle at Washington National Cathedral.
