The Orange Juice Theory

The difference between spirituality and religion can be explained by “The Orange Juice Theory”.

Spirituality is like orange juice. It’s natural. It’s delicious and nutritious.

Religion is the can that it comes in. It’s man-made. It’s hard and indigestible. It has a label on it and it competes with other brands.

What you have to do is puncture through the can to get to the same sweetness inside.
