We are pleased to offer two beautiful spaces for classes, workshops, practitioners, and consultations in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. These spaces are on the 2nd floor at Sacred Circle conveniently located near Metro, the Beltway, shopping, restaurants, and free parking. Since we want to provide a diverse array of services to the community, we will need to select from the people sending us inquiries. We have found it is in everyone’s best interest to avoid having too many of any one type of presentation or practitioner.
The larger classroom space, approximately 300 sq. ft. (16’ x 18’) which seats up to 30 comfortably, is good for workshops. This room is also useful for holistic practitioners who need more physical space. The smaller classroom space, approximately 150 sq. ft. (13’ x 11’) which seats up to 20 is also good for one-on-one consultations.
The spaces are available before, during and after store hours, which are Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 – 7:00 and Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00. The spaces must be vacated by 10:30 PM because there are residences on the 3rd and 4th floors.
Rental of a space includes use of the adjacent bathroom, tables, chairs, white board and easel, lectern, music system, movie screen, massage table (if available).
For events that generate revenue, we charge 40% of revenues which would include the scheduling and payment services at no additional charge. For events that do not generate revenue, we charge $20 each half hour or portion of a half hour. The class rooms are available at no charge for 30 minutes before an event for setup and 15 minutes after an event for clean-up.
Additional services are available to help your event run smoothly:
- Sacred Circle staff assistance outside of normal store hours is available before, during or after the event, such as for taking credit card payments for class merchandise. ($20 per hour)
- Scheduling service: we will take calls and reservations for your event.
- Payment service: we will collect payments, including credit card payments, for your event. (The payment service fee is 10% of payments handled.)
- Publicity service: we will advertise your event in the store, on our website, and in our Inner Circle e-newsletter to 9000 recipients ($20).
